Whispers of the Past Tutorial

Ok let's get started... Open template 2 in psp. Hide the background layer. Make the canvas size 800 x 800 to work with it more easily.

Fill the oval layer with a scrap paper or color of choice. Selections all, float, defloat. Modify expand x 10. new layer.
Fill with the matching color used for the oval. Selections none. Move this layer directly beneath the oval layer. Guassian blur 30%. Lower the opacity to 34% or whatever you like.

Apply vm extravaganza transmission whatever setting you like. Click back on the oval layer. Open satin bow with lace. Copy and paste as a new layer. Resize as needed.
Now what you want to do is arrange it so that the lace is all that will be seen under neath the oval layer but on top of the layer you just made with the vm extravaganza filter.
Once you are happy with how it will look duplicate, mirror and flip. move these 2 layers directly beneath the oval layer but on top of the transmission layer.
Tweak the way the lace peeks out as needed.

Click back on the oval layer when done. Add a soft drop shadow of choice to the oval layer. Click on the stitched oval layer. fill with a complimentary color of choice.

Apply a soft drop shaodw of choice when done. Open doodle of choice. Copy and paste as a new layer. resize as needed. Arrange it so that it is between the 2 squares. When happy add a drop shadow of choice. Click on one of the squares. Fill the square with a color or scrap paper of choice.

Repeat this process on the second square. Click on each frame layer. Fill with a complimenting color of choice. Open tubes or graphics of choice. Copy and paste each as a new layer.
Arrange within each square however you wish. Remove any excess hanging outside the frames. Add a soft drop shadow of choice to each tube layer.

Also add a soft drop shadow of choice to each frame layer. Open greenery of choice. Arrange as you wish surrounding the frames. Tuck it behind the boxes and in front. However you think looks good. Ensure you add each as a seperate layer.

Add any flowers etc of choice as well. Compliment with bows as you wish.

When happy add a drop shadow of choice to each layer you added. Add your text where you are happy now. Apply any appropriate copyright information. Crop and resize as needed. Save as a png or jpeg and you're done.
