Day at the Ice Pond Tutorial

This was written in psp 9 and animation shop but any version is compatible.

Supplies used in this Tutorial, Tube is the art of Rion Vernon which you must have a license to use his art. You can get this here.

All other supplies are from the kit BRRRR which was designed by me.

You can purchase this here it is also available in tagger size.

Filter used in this Tutorial is Vanderlee Snowflakes which is a free filter.

Let's get started

Open up a blank canvas 600x600

Open up your scallop and resize if needed.

Place this in the middle of your canvas.

Using your eclipse preset shape set your thickness to 10.
Set your foreground color to a color of choice and background to null.

Draw out a circle and place this at the opening of your frame.

Click inside of the opening with your magic wand tool and go to selections modify expand by 2 and add a new raster layer. Flood fill this with a paper or color of choice.

Keeping your marching ants around the frame add your elements of choice.
To remove any excess go to selections invert and hit delete on your keyboard.

Do not add your penguins just yet.

Open up your other elements that you wish and place these around the outside of your tag.

Open up your tube and place this where desired as well.

Add a shadow of choice.

Add your text and copyright to your tag.

Now it is time to add the penguins.

First place your penguins where you desire.
You are only going to be showing one at a time so we are going to x out all but one.

It might be good to label them penguin 1,2,3 ect.

Once you have your first tag with the penguin where desired

click inside of the frame again with your magic wand tool.

Add a new raster layer and go to your snowflake plugin.

Use the basic white snow option and lower the amount to what you desire.

Merge visible layers.
Copy and paste into animation shop as a new animation.

Now go back to your psp and edit undo the snowflakes.

X out your first penguin and unhide your second penguin.

Redo the snowflakes again but this time change the speed by 5.

Merge visible layers and copy and paste into animation shop after current animation.

Continue to do the steps above until all your penguins are unhidden and all frames are over in animation shop.

save your tag as a gif and you are done.
